Would like to offer career training to full time and work placement equestrian students wanting to work as part of a team, looking after high class dressage horses and breeding stock.

THE HORSES
Sheepcote have a wide variety of horses. These range from homebred foals and youngstock, stallions and broodmares, schoolmasters on which to learn and high class dressage horses competing successfully at Grand Prix.


THE ENVIRONMENT
A friendly and informal atmosphere in idyllic surroundings. An indoor and outdoor school and a cross country course.

THE POSITION
Will include all stable duties, riding, studwork, handling of a wide variety of horses and grooming at competitions. Daily lessons are given in dressage and jumping. Food and accommodation is provided. Training for BHS, NVQ and NPS exams is also given if required.

THE APPLICANTS
Need to be practical, hardworking, with a good sense of humour and keen to learn, all training will be given. Applicants must have the ability to work as part of a team and be able to communicate.

TRAINING METHODS
The training methods tought at Sheepcote are those David and Serena learned training in Europe. Including the spanish riding school - vienna, and in Germany including Warendorf and Dr R Klimke.
David also spent some time in France Training with the Cadre Noir in Saumur
